What it covers. Freshwater and saltwater aquariums, ponds and water gardens, sump pumps and basement drainage, and the pumps, plumbing and flow questions that connect those systems.
What it is not. WaterHelp is not yet an independent community of human hobbyists. Opening-day topics are official editorial seed questions and answers. They are not fabricated member stories.
How official seed questions are selected. Questions are chosen from documented search demand, published equipment-guide topics, and common entity × situation × symptom combinations. They are rewritten as natural questions rather than copied article titles.
How official answers are produced. Answers are drafted with AI assistance (OpenAI GPT-5.6 Luna), constrained by a source list, then validated for structure, citations, safety limits and commercial integrity before publication. They may contain errors. Verify critical actions.
Health and safety. Aquarium-health information is educational and does not replace an aquatic veterinarian. Electrical, flood, sewage and structural risks may require a qualified professional. Do not treat this site as an emergency service.
Community participation. Public reading is open. Public registration remains invite-only until working email and abuse controls are in place.
