WaterHelp is hosted at waterhelp.forum. Public topics, categories and tags are intended to be readable and indexable.
Accounts. Creating an account currently requires an invitation. If you later have an account, Discourse stores the profile and posts you submit. Operational secrets are not part of the public site.
Analytics. The public site sends anonymous first-party events to POST /_wh/e as query parameters (page path plus an event name such as a topic view, internal search, or a click to aquariumpumps.top, pondpumps.top or sumppumps.top). That endpoint does not collect email addresses, names, or free-text messages. Standard nginx access logs and a separate analytics log may include IP address, requested path, and Referer. Those logs are rotated and kept for about 14 days. There is no Google Analytics, AdSense, Meta Pixel, or other advertising tracker on this launch.
Transactional email. Outgoing forum email is currently disabled. When it is enabled, WaterHelp will send only transactional messages (invitations, password resets, and account notifications) through Postmark. That is not marketing mail and is not consent for a newsletter.
Disclaimer. Answers may be wrong. Official seed answers used AI assistance and cited sources; that is not a promise of completeness or human review of every sentence. You are responsible for checking instructions against manufacturer manuals, local codes, and qualified professionals.
Aquarium-health information does not replace an aquatic veterinarian. Flooding, sewage, electrical faults and structural failures can be dangerous — shut off power only if you can do so without standing in water, and call qualified help.
